Re: Pest control in the country

We live in the country and have a ranch down south with two cabins. Snakes - They like the rough country where they can hide. Keep your yard and area you frequent clean. Mowed and brush removed. No hiding places for the most part. In 17 years we have never seen a snake in our yard. Killed both coppe...

Never BAD to want another gun!

Your choice, perhaps.

Re: AR accuracy fix

I true all receivers, then I know they are GTG. 50 ft/lbs is too much. 30 is ideal. Free float barrel with quality handguard and bed barrel.........Sub MOA at 100 in my 6.8's.

Turkey

Some Gobblers from our ranch in Gonzales County. 18 showed up and what a show they put on. Didn't shoot any in fear of scattering them. Wanted my dad, now 85, to get a shot. Never happened. So the pics will have to do!

Re: Close call with Glock

Glad you didn't have an accident. A Glock, like any other firearm, must be respected at all times. DILIGENCE. Knowing the trigger is the GO button, one must protect it at all costs. A soft holster is not safe. As one would hold his thumb up on a 1911 safety when holstering, one should cover the trig...

College Kids - Desire to carry

How many of you have college aged kids, especially young ladies, who are very interested in legally carrying a handgun? Not just on campus, but in general. I have a recent grad from SHSU and she is very interested, so one of grad gifts was a Glock 26 with a trigger holster for her purse. I am very p...

Re: Wearing a visible, empty belt holster

I wear OWB holsters exclusively. My personal reaction would be to either untuck my shirt cover up the gun if there is a 30.07 sign, or give my dollars to another business that posts both 30.06 and 30.07 signs . They don't deserve my dollars, plain and simple. If you don't have a concealed backup gu...
