Re: Can the USPS get any worse?

My Wife just discovered that the "stupid" post office can't even correct an address. She inadvertently put incorrect address on her friend's Birthday card and it came back to her. (After a little over 3 weeks of course!) Seriously though, we don't have too many problems. We live in a rural...

Re: More School Guardians?

Here's the big problem with "School Guardians". Don't get me wrong, I'm all for them. But When a 9-10 year old brings a gun to school and starts waving it around, threatening to kill everyone in the room, and gets shot, what are the headlines/article going to look like? "My little Joh...

Re: Mattress - WAY OFF TOPIC

Keep in mind that "memory" foam has a limited life. As we have discovered dealing with memory foam in aircraft seats, it is VERY comfortable, but it does compress and loose it's firmness over time. In aircraft seats we have found it life to be around 6 - 8 years. I suspect that sleeping on...

Re: Mattress - WAY OFF TOPIC

We had a Sleep Number mattress for quite a number of years and loved it. When it came time to replace/upgrade it, the new mattress was is no way better or even equivalent. Even the guys that set it up said that it didn't look right. It was 2" thinner, even though the "spec" said it wa...

Re: My 2023 Opening Weekend Hill Country Buck (blood warning)

We hunt in the Texas Hill Country on a non-high fenced lease. We started protein feeding three years ago and had some very nice bucks showing up and we have given them time to grow. There is a large property next to us that the occupant (the land is in a trust and there's not deeded individual owne...

You guys are talking about rules and laws.

Unfortunately our current government doesn't seem to be bothered about such trivial things.

It's not just gun auctions. Aircraft tool auctions are the same way. People bid above new price on worn out junk.

Nobody follows the rules any more.
