Re: Deputy Scot Peterson

What’s more important, safety of the children or the football program for little Johnny (or water polo, or volleyball, or baseball etc.) ? They may have to cut things they don’t like and stop spending so much. I guarantee I can walk in there and find plenty of money to redirect to school security. ...

Re: Pulled over for speeding - you won't believe what happened next!

Every experience I’ve had with Texas State Troopers have been positive. I’m glad yours was as well Me too except maybe for troopers at the drivers license office. Just renewed my driver's license 2 days ago. No problem at all with any of the officers there. They were all very friendly to my carrying.

Re: TSA Contact

Well guess what! I found out where the people who fail the TSA test go. They become "Customs" Agents. We were returning from a cruise on Tuesday. My Wife had made a significant Jewelry purchase in Grand Cayman. While clearing customs, the agent told us to "Go into the little room and ...

Not to sound like a dummy but also failed the Walmart test and really scratch my head when I see some of their employees. D'oh! :banghead: I think you're looking at it wrong. The IQ limit on th...

TSA Contact

Not exactly an LEO contact but I approached a TSA agent in Austin/Bergstrom Int'l Airport yesterday. I learned something. Did you know that our CHL is not issued to us? As I approached I was trying to get at my Driver's license for ID. In the process, the agent saw my CHL. She snapped, "Is that...

I was thinking more of Andy Griffith show. Was the officer named Barney?
