Re: WTS/WTT RIA 1911 3.5" DFW

This gun is absolutely great to shoot and is dead accurate. Will eat anything. I own the same one with Novak sights. This gun here has a lot of nice additional features. That Wilson trigger looks beautiful on it, too. $450 is a steal for the trigger and grips alone.

Good luck with sale! :tiphat:

Where abouts in San Antonio. I live in medical center (NW). I would love to see this for myself so I can laugh when I'm having a bad day. :smilelol5:

Re: WTS - Dan Wesson V-Bob

I completely misunderstood the question. Please disregard. I thought I had read that you were willing to trade it for a P226 + cash. Looks like my age is getting to me again. :tiphat:  :grumble

What caliber were you thinking in trade with the P226?

Re: My EDC blade of choice

I carry a Benchmade or SOG most of the time. My SOG is not your $20 one that you would find at your local Wal Mart. I'm talking about their VG10/Seki Japan series. I also just acquired their Pillar which is 100% USA with S35VN Steel. Now, I am a knife collector myself, but I use all of them. You kno...

Re: It's because of one person...

My older brother. At first, I was not fond of firearms or anything of the such. My father had showed my older brother and I his Ruger Security Six when I was about 8. Showed us how it functioned and where it was located if we ever had to use it. There I found out the seriousness of a firearm and rep...

Re: Multitool suggestions

I personally love SOG's multi tool. Their PowerLock series are awesome. I love their compound leverage, too.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry

My "little" EDC family. They have a few other S&W, Ruger & Beretta cousins also, but this is the immediate family! Just got the little Colt Mustang. My first .380. I wanted it for a little deeper carry, where a little extra concealment was necessary. I do have a little Beretta Jet...

Re: Where to eat in San Antonio

Acenar is mediocre at best. The interior is nice. A bit chilly inside that'll cause your food to go cold fairly quickly, but nothing to write home about. I personally love going to Liberty Bar, or Rosarios. Drink at the Friendly Spot. Just to name a few.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry

Love the traditional look, however I love Sig's design so much, I opted to get their 1911 with their flavor on it. I heard they were making a 'traditional model' at the time or purchase, but this screams unique. I did not like the magazines that came with it, but just added some Wilson Combat mags, ...

These are just a few for myself, but usually what I tend to carry. More utility knives than SD. Still can play the SD role at anytime. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/JzS3ig2QIO7iopzhKZL6MLxDUO_7Sr5F5rg2EZbm1qpKvkXDAFnHQLdaqWJhN5vzvcwTE7_8gdVAEcjLkfMR-85fwNUDar7QHZAWZRVMlVIRBWuOMWPwcChQr_H5dt4WvlT...
