If you shoot a guy in the hand with a .45, it'll rip his whole arm off!

It must be true because I heard a Marine say that to Eugene Sledge in The Pacific miniseries.

Re: Eye Surgery

Thanks. I had not read about the procedure possibly causing cataracts. I've known for about 5 years that I have cataracts developing in both eyes. Even this last doctor said they're very slight, so we'll have to see how it goes. Both of my parents had to have cataract surgery, so it's not much of a ...

Re: Ever Used A Sensor Red Dot?

Pawpaw, I looked and can't find if the FF3 comes with a mount or if I have to buy it separately? They sell them without a mount or with one of several mounts included. You can see the different part numbers in the User Guide here: http://www.burrisoptics.com/sites/default/files/content/products/man...

Re: Army chooses Sig

Good for Sig! This should be a big feather in their cap. This whole exercise highlights what is wrong with military procurement, specifically, and our government, in general. After 5 years and hundreds of millions of dollars, each of those $300 pistols will have cost the American taxpayers about $1,...

Re: Please tell me your feelings!

For the first time in 8 years, I feel hope for the future of this country. I have come to believe Trump is truly serious about making America great again. I'm sick of watching Failey McWorseThanCarter bow, fawn, and lick the boots of foreign leaders. I feel absolute delight over the panicked hand-wr...

Re: Eye Surgery

Thanks rotor! That is the best report I've run across. Most talk about having to take pain pills for a couple of weeks, swelling, etc. I don't know if I can use it, but I would appreciate having his name. From what I've read, you ONLY want a retinal specialist doing a vitrectomy. I'm most concerned ...

Eye Surgery

Has anyone here had a vitrectomy? It looks like I have this in my near future, so I would like to hear about your experience. For several years I've had this "cloud" in my right eye and it seems to me that it's slowly gotten worse. It's sort of like a few strands of hair falling down in fr...
