Re: The thread where we thank Mr. Cotton

I have had a "exciting" time watching these two important bills go through the process. It was because of this forum that I was able to understand what was going on and gave me hope when at times I thought all was lost. Thank you for all that you have done Mr. Cotton and thanks to the many...

Re: Plastic on the way...time for another gun!

Hey gremlinschl good to see you on the forum. Im wonderinmg if your license came in yet. It all depends on which way you want to carry. In my opinion glocks are just way to bulky if you are going to pocket carry As you seem inclined to IWB or SOB carry I am thinking your full size glock in...

Re: Range report - Beretta Nano sub-compact 9mm

I just picked up my nano yesterday! It first caught my eye when i saw one at academy right before Christmas. Thanks for the review, several have been popping up and overall it's seems to be pretty positive. A few people are having issues with fte with lighter loads but that's doesn't seem across the...

Re: New KSG THOUGHTS?

I have been excited about the KSG since they first announced it. I have been patiently waiting and was hoping I would be able to make it my christmas present but still have not heard anything about a release date. The only announcement i have seen from Kel-Tec was to steer clear of online shops that...

Re: Poll shows that more americans dont want more gun contro

THe administration can make up whatever bologna they want but the more the general public is exposed to the benefits and virtues of gun ownership through hands on experience or real info the less likely they are to be duped by this or any future administration.

Re: Ron Paul vs Rick Perry

I am on the ABO plan. "Anyone But Obama". I'll support a green Martian if I thought it could beat Obama. :iagree: But I would like to really see some sort of Perry/Cain ticket. Cain has his 9 9 9 plan and Perry just released his flat tax proposal. Are these the absolutely perfect end all ...

Re: Barrett rec 7 in 5.56 opinions

Thanks to everyone for your opinions and great advice. I looked at several of the weapons you mentions and there are some really excellent ones out there. In a perfect world I would like to own them all but that doesn't exist. The Barrett rec7 I was eyeing at buds gun shop popped up again for the sa...

Re: Barrett rec 7 in 5.56 opinions

Yep I am pretty set on a piston. I have a dsa fal and I love it! It's what I have experience with. The problem is the fal is pretty heavy with the steel upper and long barrel so I would like to get a carbine that's a bit lighter with a smaller round to keep on target. I have been entertaining the id...
