Re: Texas Dad Shoots Peeping Tom

Outrage unfortunately sometimes leads to bad decisions and outcomes. In this case, it led to force escalation by the parents which may end up with very negative results.

:iagree: Isn't it nice that we are living through the "fundamental change" years? Use all the boxes you have -- soap, ballot and cartridge -- as often as appropriate. Change can swing both ways. Use all the influence you have.

Re: Need a new Senator

Modern politics is supposedly the art of compromise (as well as ensuring power and wealth are accrued to our political class). Any politi-critter who does not align with the big-Government, nanny-State Leftists needs to take a clear look at their actions rather than their words. The Left, particular...

Re: Distressed about lack of Constitutional Carry Support (Long)

Its not a bad thing at all. Question is where do you draw the line on what is legal? If I could legally possess an M60 would you feel comfortable with me carrying it around in public? The law might say I can but the public might have a problem with it. I've got no problem with cc but most people do...

Re: Texas Senator John Cornyn open to finding "Common Ground" on gun control.

Just submitted this to the Senator's contact site. "Common ground on Gun Control" comments by the Senator as quoted by Politico... Senator, individual Liberty and human Rights are ideals that led to the founding of this nation as a Republic. There is NEVER a time to set these aside, even w...

Re: LA: 5 people shot in Shreveport.

This many shootings while the leftist are trying to ram gun control thru is highly suspicious! I can't shake the feeling this is planned If it is planned the deck is stacked. Who is shooting folks? Criminals. Who stands to benefit with a less risky "work" environment as more stringent gun...

Re: Fauci says gun violence is a public health issue

Turning daily life in the US over to epidemiologists -- with Dr. Fauci front and center -- has cost the current and future citizens of this countly $Trillions, and the profilgate spending is a threat that may help lead to the end of this nation. THIS was the worst decision Trump and everyone else ma...

... the brainwashed, continuing to brainwash. These Progressives' belief system is Collectivism (Socialism, Communism or whatever other -ism you want to call it). From that basis as their core belief, it is unconscionable to consider the truth that human nature inevitably results in the strong -- in...

Re: Portable Generators

Regarding Carlson's question, we purchased a standby generator after Ike left us without grid power for 17 days. It is a Generac liquid cooled 23KW (propane)/20KW (Natural Gas) unit with an auto transfer switch. This essentially replaces our 100 Amp service entirely so all circuits stay on. It carri...

Re: For sale by a millenial! Maybe AOC's brother???

A few years back I refinished my old BB gun, a late '60s Daisy model 96 -- sort of like the heftier big brother to the Red Ryder. Had it since I was about six or seven years old. Had a Red Ryder before that, but it perished in a garage fire.

Red Ryder model number is 1938. No idea if the sales person knows that or not.

Liberty does not come without risk. This is the sticking point for most political arguments these days. Different folks have different appetites for risk. I am in the same camp with TAM in believing that Liberty is extremely important as a foundational -- and everlasting -- principle for our experi...

Re: The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election

The Times article is a wonderful example of the winner being able to write the history. In the case of this election, the winner was clearly this shadow (Progressive) campaign, and this article is self-congratulatory. Essentially they are saying, "Look at us -- we won the election for Biden and...

Re: NRA filing Chapter 11

As I understand it, this "move to Texas" is simply for the purposed of registering their incorporation. As such, it doesn't mean that they will necessarily move any staff or operations to Texas.
