I carry DL, LTC & Insurance together in a small folding wallet in my left shirt pocket. It is easy to get to without alarming a LEO pretty much whenever I get it. That said the last time I was stopped in Texas was before I had my CHL and I never even showed my license or insurance. Approx. 1998....
