I worked for a company that was in negotiations to sell our software to an African country back in 2004. Thankfully though it turned out that they just wanted a trip to the US on our dime. And negotiations fell through shortly after their return to Africa.
I can't even recall which country it was now. But I think it was either Botswana or Congo.
