They better get to it early, to prevent any possible shenanigans on the House floor.

It's not eligible to be heard until 2:40pm. I suppose they could suspend the rules but that seems unlikely to me.

I was referring to SB11, this is the last day it can be heard in the House.
But yeah.....HB910 not until at least 2:40pm today. I'm sure SB11 will take up a lot of time.

My apologies. There's so much going on, I'm going to have to pay better attention.

SB11 should be heard on the House floor tomorrow.
HB910 concurrence vote is thought to be mid week. Not yet scheduled

The concurrence vote won't be scheduled the way a vote on a bill is. The bill will become eligible 24 hours after the report was issued. After that, the vote could happen any time.

Oh, bull. No budding or experienced academic is going to turn down an otherwise good offer to UT because of campus carry. Are the Univ. of Chicago, or Columbia, or any host of other tier one schools uncompetitive because they happen to be located in crime ridden urban centers? Of course not. People take their chances and go for the places that will advance their careers.

They threatened to filibuster HB910 if the House refuses to concur and it is sent to a conference committee, after which it must be again voted on in each chamber.

I stand corrected, put a notch in your forum police belt. It was stated that if both chambers had to vote after a bill returning from conference committee they would.
I'm glad you caught it.

A concurrence vote and a vote on a conference committee report are not the same thing. A concurrence vote cannot be subject to filibuster, but a vote on a conference committee report can. It's easy to get the two confused.
