Re: Starting Police Academy

Thanks for all the support everyone. I am making through ok I think. I overheard my trainer and the training Sgt talking about me and nothing bad was said. For those of you who don't know how the military/leo life goes, no news is pretty much good news. Maybe not always the case, but in my case this...

Re: SPROUTS Mckinney 30.06

Regardless of either one of those signs, if I see one I won't be spending money there unless I have to.

SPROUTS Mckinney 30.06

Well they had the business of my family and some friends. I went in today to grab a few things and noticed something new and stepped back and it's nice and big. I was shocked because they have been open for awhile now without that sign. Oh well.

Re: Starting Police Academy

OH and nanna nanna boo boo 30.06 signs no longer apply to me!!! Sure they do. If you are carrying under authority of Subchapter Chapter 411 Government Code, then it applies to you. An example would be if your department only allowed you to off duty carry your specific type of weapon you carry on du...

Re: Galco King-Tuk can go pound sand

Let me see if I can knock a lot of these out with one post instead of quoting everyone. I bought it for my duty issue sig 226 to wear with a suit and tie (BLAH). I have used many holsters like it. FYI this is my second king tuk to try out. I have used a desantis version, a crossbreed, and a no name ...

Galco King-Tuk can go pound sand

I was placed into a position (suit and tie) today to force me to open carry with a pistol I normally don't carry. It was dropped on me yesterday afternoon so I only had time to run to Cabelas to get a holster that looked more "business". So all they had that fit my duty gun fitting this wa...

Re: Fnding extremely hard to holster using IWB in a Car

This is why i started appendix carrying. It is the only true way, in my opinion, to carry a gun and get to it and almost all situations. This carry isnt for everyone. It took a bit getting used to especially with a Glock 19. However, I can wrestled with my kids at the park, draw from sitting down in...

Re: Starting Police Academy

Some time in the middle there I was worrying that you were not going to make it, it was like watching a Soap Opera :eek6 I'm glad you overcame the initial difficulties and I am sorry to hear you...

Re: streaming video

Is it choppy sound or video or both? I saw a similar symptom on my Windows box a while ago. After updating a Realtek audio driver I had chopped sound through my speakers. Regardless of application I used, Youtube, windows media player or a simple 3rd party sound player/ editor called Soundforge. Ro...
