I know how to handle a firearm. I know the safety precautions to take when dealing with them. But you know what... I still read the "rules" in the manual each and every time I get a new gun. I realize beforehand that they will always be the same thing, but that doesn't matter. I read it to keep me on level. As the OP stated, we are ALL human.
Excellent post. I will force any and all people who ever shoot with me to read this or they just won't be going with me. Simple as that.
