Re: Straw Man Query

Since he's eligible and legally able to purchase the firearm, and he knows you're giving it to him as a gift, why don't you take him to your FFL, you pay for it and the FFL uses his info on the paperwork? I did that with my daughter last year - I bought her a Springfield XDs 9 for Christmas. We met ...

Well, I wouldn't hold out too much hope for Dallas, there's a big difference between Belton and Dallas....

Belton Gun & Knife Show - not posted 30.06/30.07

Saturday, Oct 7, I went to the Belton Ham Radio gathering at the Expo! center in Belton. I didn't find anything that I needed to trade my $$ for. Concurrently, there was a Gun and Knife show next door in the Expo!, put on by the Lone Star Gun Show folks, so I decided to browse through there. I was c...

Actually I think this story is support for banning mouse guns. Just imagine this poor woman's trauma if that mouse had been armed. https://netorg12342-my.sharepoint.com/personal/wayne_kubebroadcast_com/_layouts/15/guestaccess.aspx?docid=0b4a7ec21fe2b4499906593a247765d88&authkey=AbubD_6FVzR-Q6y3...

I was thinking more of Andy Griffith show. Was the officer named Barney?

Re: ER nurse arrested???

She wasn't arrested. She was set in the patrol car for about 20 minutes and "let go without charges." She may not have been arrested, but I do believe she was illegally detained. I believe that she actually was arrested. Utah laws most likely differ from Texas laws, and I am not familiar ...

Re: 2 dead, 4 injured Clovis, NM Library

My youngest brother works in Clovis for Curry County. Reports from him, the shooter is a 16 or 17 year old male high school sophomore. Lives with his father, no mother around. Others said he was bullied in school. Walked into the library with a gun, fired shots into floor and ceiling first, then sta...

Re: UT Monuments

A very good friend of mine, Jay from Crawford, is a 1974 University of Texas graduate. I had lunch with him on Tuesday, and he had just been on the air with Chris Salcedo on WBAP. Jay is outraged (a gross understatement) by the nighttime removal of the monuments. Jay is a 6th generation Native Texas...

Re: New Gun Range is coming to Allen, TX

A good friend of mine is a Platinum member at FGC, and like like you, Beiruty, he was a member before it opened. Back in June, I joined him for a shooting session. It was on a weekday (Thursday, I think) and we were there when they opened. Got our lane assignment, and there was only one other lane i...
