I am currently a Texas LTC instructor. I am letting my certification expire at the end of this year. I also have my LTC. I only have the one card that states that I am a LTC instructor. No mention of my LTC. When my instructor certification expires 12-31-17 how do I prove that my LTC is valid?

I should have gone futher with my question. What are the student's choices after failing the third time? I have had 3 people fail the shooting portion the second time. At that point I told them they needed professional instruction and practice before trying again. So far we haven't seen any of them ...

DPS rules state that we must give students three tries to pass the written or shooting part of the course. What happens if they
fail all three tries?

If a registered letter is returned to the DPS, they are required to post a notice n a news paper "of general interest in the county of the last known address"
