Re: Thinner gun belt
Thanks for the tip. I just ordered one to try out.SecurityGeek wrote:I tried one of the reinforced Klik Belts (https://www.klikbelts.com) and it seems sufficiently stout. Much lighter and easier-wearing than my double-thickness bullhide gun belts too, especially with shorts and summer weight clothing.

Of all the various gun belts I've owned over the years, this is THE one!

Re: Beltman after 1 year
I am not for sure if I bought bullhide or horse hide. What do you think makes the better belt?
I don't buy into the horse hide craze. Supposedly it ... from experience Cordovan never changes no matter how much you abuse it. But, the devil is in the details on what and how these belts are constructed.

Re: Beltman after 1 year
I've worn mine just about every day since I bought it in 2009. Bullhide no stiffener. Leather is darker where my holster rides, but other than that, not ... the quality is like since Jim sold, but based on my experience with this belt, I absolutely cannot recommend these belts enough. Best I've ever seen.

Crossbread offers one called the Instructors belt.

The beltman also offers no buckle belts. Unfortunately, they are not really all that size adjustable

Re: Gun belts
You might check out "Hank's Belts" on Amazon.com. Most run $50 - $60, bullhide with removable hardware, and are very tough. I bought two a few months ago and they still look and feel new.

... great.
I might have bought their belt, but I already had two Beltman bullhide belts when I bought the holsters.
They are not cheap, about $100, but still less than Kramer.

I also suggest a Wilderness Instructors belt for a very good nylon belt.
