Violence is a tool which can be misused. The proper application of violence is essential to the health of the tree of Liberty. And to my own safety.

Re: The "I am a marine not a soldier"

I was Army, not Marines, and have never known many Marines personally. But I always thought of "Soldier" as Army, just like "Airman" = Air Force, "Sailor" = Navy, and "Wannabe" = Coast Guard. I would never think to call a Marine "Soldier", any more ...

Re: Magnetic Vehicle Mount

When I am driving my wife's Altima, She Who Must Be Obeyed requires that I not scratch the leather seats. I carry my S&W M&P M2.0 9mm 5inch in a Safariland ALS attached to my belt with their Quick Locking System. I remove the holstered pistol from my belt before I enter the car and place it ...

Re: Medical accessories

I carry medical gear but unless the bad guy is dead or unconscious, he's still a threat to me if I get close enough. I'll call 911 and let EMS render aid, but even they sometimes wait until LEO make the scene safe. :iagree: I carry a SOFTT-W on my belt. On the range, we have clotting agent, chest s...

:iagree:
For my paddle holster, paddle goes inside the waist band. For my paddle mag pouch, paddle goes outside the waist band. Works for me.

Re: Kore Belt

The picture below shows my every day carry. I wear the Kore Essentials gun belt as my pants belt, not as a duty belt. In this picture, I wanted to show the belt I use to hold my pants up and how I position the gear I carry daily. I find the Kore belt to be effective in carrying my EDC gear. The belt...

Re: Curious as to what the instructors/“experts” carry?

The best carry gun is the most powerful handgun with which you can consistently put rounds on target. If the hole is too small, get a bigger gun. If the gun is too big for you to consistently put rounds on target, get a smaller gun. Find what makes you the most effective in a gun fight and carry it...

Re: 4 suspects break in, pistol whip homeowner and robbery

Once again we see multiple attackers. This is the new normal folks, so be sure to take that into consideration when deciding on a firearm and when training/practicing. Oh yeah, what a great time to have an AR-15! Chas. This is a troubling pattern... I have been pretty lax about HD weapons lately- o...
