Re: 4 suspects break in, pistol whip homeowner and robbery

Once again we see multiple attackers. This is the new normal folks, so be sure to take that into consideration when deciding on a firearm and when training/practicing. Oh yeah, what a great time to have an AR-15! Chas. This is a troubling pattern... I have been pretty lax about HD weapons lately- o...

Re: Kore Belt

I just ordered a Kore belt and am anxiously awaiting for it to arrive. My chose was based mostly on the positive posts on the forum. So, are all of you Kore belt owners still happy with your purchase and have they held up well for you? I got tired of switching between the to tight and to loose hole...

Look soon. Your local PD may only hold one CPA a year. Here in central Texas, the CPA classes fill up months in advance.

Texas agencies cannot prohibit carrying unless there are special circumstances. Before my wife retired from the Teacher Retirement System, I carried openly whenever I visited her there.

Re: Modifications to your carry gun. Thoughts?

Personally -- and this is my personal opinion -- I don't modify my carry weapon, and I do not carry hand loads. I don't want any prosecutor or attorney having even an inkling of "He wanted to be deadlier than necessary!" I do not fault those who choose to put a lighter trigger on, however. As has a...

Re: I also prefer .45acp

I think it has been posted here before, but there were statistical studies of calibers used in actual shootings. I believe the findings were there was no statistical difference in performance of anything 9mm and up. Of course, a lot of details don't show up in statistics, but I would say that means...

I don't carry my 155mm. It carries me AND provides ballistic cover. :biggrinjester:

Re: Need A Fix For A Paddle Holster

My first pistol, which I bought from my wife's recently widowed aunt, came with a Fobus paddle holster. I really liked being able to easily remove the holstered pistol from my belt. After wearing it for a few years, and doing some research, I came to understand that the attachment point where the ri...
