Re: Make an Old Computer Your Home Security System

I surely like the idea with the dual skype account, especially since you can load the skype client also on a smart phone or iphone. Here is my solution, not as cheap but energy sufficient. Get a mini PC and install Linux, most commercial firewalls Verizon for example supplies a great firewall with t...

Re: New leather IWB holster question.

The D.M. Bullard Leather/ Dual Carry IWB holster surprised me. After I took it out of the box my first thought was it is going to be too bulky and too stiff. I found out I was wrong after using it for just a day. It is a perfect fit and the quality seems to be better than other leather holsters I ha...

Re: Question about a S&W Mod. 19-4

Thanks for the reply and the info. I got mine out of a trade and don't really care for it in particular. It is a great shooter but I think I'm going to sell it and invest into a semi.

Re: New leather IWB holster question.

That is exactly what I did, the Desantis is good for the pocket carry but not for IWB carry. I ordered an IWB from Bullard and that works. Thanks.

It is probably always a good idea to take as many pictures as possible if things like that are happening.

Re: Pulled over for speeding in Louisiana

With a TX license plate you get a tivket for driving in LA. I got 6 so far. One every time I went to or crossed through LA. Two of those tickets were warning tickets and 4 were in the $200 ballpark. What I don't get is the fact they acused me of speeding but I did not except once. I guess they reall...

Re: What to do after use of concealed handgun

As far as I know, the best way to act, if it happened and a robber is shot and laying on the ground. Check the surrounding area, if everything is clear get any weapons out of reach if the thug is still alive. Call 911 and say you shot an attacker, please send police and an ambulance may be required....

They have a good stock pile and are friendly. I have not seen any overpriced items either in comparison to other places.

That is impressive! If guns can be made this way anything else will be made this way.

Question about a S&W Mod. 19-4

Question: What is the value of a S&W Model 19-4, blued, in good condition with a trigger job done but slight holster wear on the barrel tip? Is this something to hold on to or should I get rid of it?

Re: Sig 938 rental - not

I have a P938 with rubber grips, The grips fell of first and were replaced with custom Rosewood grips. After reading some reviews I took the gun apart and cleaned any factory lube off, put it back together, dry, and worked it for one hour. Elbow grease is for free :-). Then i disassembled it, appli...
