Re: Man attacks teens in San antonio over MAGA hat
I hope the DA makes a quick and very public example of this. The state and country need to see that the law is not on their side and will not look the other way with this type of behavior or this will continue to escalate across the country. Hah! This is in Bexar county. MAYBE a slap on the wrist, ...

Re: Germany: 21 dead, mass murderer arrested
The title of this thread is misleading. This should say "Serial Killer " rather than "mass murderer". Pretty sure that this fits the description of a serial killer since they weren't killed all at once.

Re: Any Recourse Against Sneaky Tax Raise?
There should be a process to appeal. Problem is the appraisal district just does what they want. I protested 3 acres I'm building a house on. Wanted to say if you can find me somebody to pay what you say it's worth, I'll cash the check. After I was called by the appraisal office, I got the price pe...

Re: Cell Phone Location Data - Supreme Court
In general, the "conservative" justices have a tendency of voting with those giving power to the government to track or monitor the populace. This was one of my major issues with Scalia. In most cases I think he got things right with the strict interpretation of the constitution, but in th...

Re: Priorities for 2019 legislative session
I would really like for it to be possible for those who attend church on school property, public and private, to be able to legally carry to their church services. Exempt LTC holders from TPC 46.03 and 46.035 or remove TPC 46.03 and 46.035 from the penal code and that will happen. 1. Remove all off...

Re: UK: the police state
Remember - the UK has no First Amendment, and although the rights enshrined in the Constitution and Bill of Rights are natural rights, endowed upon man by his Creator, they are not largely recognized or protected anywhere in the world except (sometimes) in the USA.

New tax on residential water use. Each residence is limited to 55 gallons per day before the tax begins. The utility is taxed not the individual residence, so your at the mercy of your rich neighbor. Please don’t come here with your Kalifornia views. link in case anyone's interested: http://sacrame...

what happened to the other topic? I had notifications, then when I clicked on it it told me I wasn't "authorized", then it disappeared....all very weird. Looks like there is a sub-forum in the "Legislative" forum specifically for Governor Abbot's Gun Policy announcement. I suspe...

Re: Governor Abbott Navigates Public Attitudes and Political Realities with Gun Policy Announcement
When will these knuckle heads get it through their pea brains it isn't guns to blame, it's crazy people who 'will' find a way to create mayhem...? But... but... but... it is just so much easier to cause lots of damage with a 300 magazine clip per second, fully semi-automatic death dealing machine t...

Re: Colorado taking first steps towards complete confiscation
Seems to me that if a person” qualifies” to have his firearms taken away because he is mentally unstable and/or danger to others, then it Should be the person that is confiscated, not the firearms. :iagree: If someone is this dangerous, then they should be locked up. They should not have access to ...

What a bunch of nonsense - so we have 30-06, 30-07, 51% and something that looks like a 51% sign but isn't :mad5 We also have another one to worry about - I hadn't seen one of these signs before: https://www.texas3006.com/view.php?id=17793 Keep in mind, that only applies to 10 hospitals in the stat...

Re: Three shot breaking into LGS
Man Houston has really gone up in crime lately. Not the first time a gun store has been broken into either, top range and collectors firearms have both been burglarized over a few years ago. Seems like every day now there's another shooting or armed robbery here in Houston. Hope my LTC goes through...
