Re: Need 1911 Slide Milled For RMR

Just visited Vulcan MachineWerks in Plano and dropped off my Staccato for some work. Seemed like a solid operation and friendly group of guys.

350 + tax for direct milling for a 407K, refinish the slide frame and magwell Burnt Bronze. Excited to see how it turns out.

Dang. I want. If your deal falls through let me know if you have any interest in a Zev OZ9c Hyper-Comp. Not a gen 5 but it is a gen 3/4 clone. A cool one too.

Re: S&W CSX

I mountain bike and dirt bike a lot, and i carry while doing so esp since i spend a lot of time in the woods sitting on top of a 10k bike. For this, or the gym, i prefer a micro compact, easier IWB on shorts on in my camelbak and lighter weight for the bouncing around in rough terrain or on jumps.

Re: On board vehicle air compressor suggestion?

ARB is the obvious answer but the most expensive. You can rig a Viair 88p or similar unit to a breaker/fuse panel or on an add a circuit to a 12v slot on an existing fuse panel. From there you can run quick disconnects to the front and back or keep a long hose, or add in a 2-5gal tank with a one way...

Re: S&W CSX

They are late to the high cap micro game, and i agree, need a rail and optics cut, its likely also heavier than the p365 and hellcat.

599? No thanks.

Re: Bad Shoot

How’s an officer to know that the guy is actually a cripple? Just being in a motorized chair isn’t conclusive. He could be faking it. Had he gone in store with his knife and assuming he’s not a cripple then there is real danger, especially to the person near the door. He doesnt know, but thats the ...

Re: Red dot optic carry

I carry micros for comfort, got tired of walking around with 50oz 1911s, so i try to force myself to be ...

Re: Kenosha Wisconsin Shooter discussion

Remember back when there was this thought about the prosecutor intentionally going for a mistrial? The result of that could've been a mistrial with prejudice that would prevent any retrial due to double jeopardy because of intentionally throwing this one. I gotta say that this also smacks of being ...

Re: Kenosha Wisconsin Shooter discussion

Whichever way it goes, it's a fascinating look at how any of us could be painted by a prosecutor in a SD shooting - a graphic reminder to do our best to avoid as much as humanly possible. And how your actions will be analyzed by teams of experts frame by frame. In a 30 frames per second video thats...
