Re: I Found Ammo - Houston Westchase Area

We don't gouge prices on ammo but we are paying a premium to be able to stock it. Ahh, sorry about that! When I wrote that the price is still high, that's because of the price the LGS are paying. Thanks for the shout-out.
Yes, we have plenty of 9MM and .22 High velocity in stock.
We also have 5.7X28, 7.62X39, 5.56, 5.45X39

We also have an Arsenal AK and an FN Scar.

Re: january apps

Greetings. I've been following this thread closely as my wife took her class in January.
She received her chl in the mail yesterday (2/14/2013).
It showed 'mailed' since (2/9/2013). The envelope was postmarked (2/11/2013).
37 days from mailbox to mailbox. Pretty good in my opinion.

Re: Glock 27 4th gen question??

Shorter spring means stiffer spring.
Also, Gen4 sub compacts use the same double recoil spring as the Gen3 sub compacts do.

Re: Do You Own a Gun Safe?

Yep. I keep everything of value in mine. These days that includes ammo.
....and yes, it's bolted solidly to the foundation. It's practically part of the house.

Many people here carry two. A primary and a back-up in case the primary fails.
I just carry a Glock so failure is not a worry to me.

Welcome to the forum. :tiphat:

There is no limit of how many guns a person may carry, as long as they are concealed. ;-)

Clearly it's a Glock with a high capacity ammunition clip and a silencer.
