When I was a kid, I got 50 cents a week if my chores had been completed that week. No completed chores - no allowance. Simple concept.

If I remember correctly, I used to buy two fifty round boxes of .22 LR every week. I always got my chores done.

Probably around 1500 to 2000 per year just shooting and training. Don't do any strictly recreational shooting (plinking) although always have great fun while training and practicing.
