Re: Make comments on opinion article
My second comment, also waiting for moderator approval, reads: in response to Stratman: Geez. The letter writer makes a VERY valid point. However, if Texas laws are so great, why can't we carry in a state park? Big signs at the enterance say no firearms. Are CCW's excluded from this? Stratman, we CA...

Re: Make comments on opinion article
I posted the following response: in response to JarHead: "As long as the second amendment is observed, the rest of our rights are guaranteed." Baloney. Not all legal gun carriers are going to always be nice. Legal carry does not automatically an upstanding citizen make. So now should we tr...

Re: Woman Raped by Fake Ft.Worth Officer
I would add: have a gun in your hand while you're making that phone call just in case the BG decides to kick down the door instead of running before the cops get there. You can always tell the 911 operator that you are armed, and when the real police show up, you can always put the gun down somewher...

Re: 4" XD .45
TAM / anyone: California, and I believe Massachusetts, have the '10 round mag' restriction. If you load the M & P to its full 10 + 1 capability, does that break the California rules? Since you would then have a weapon loaded with 11 rounds? SIA No, you don't break law. The law applies to magazi...

Pity I saw your post about your new bench too late - I just bought my first house (moved in over the weekend) and bought a small workbench at Lowes.

Great deal on the H&K! Too bad you're a lefty or one those holsters would be mine. If you're looking to sale an extra mag or two let me know. Mutt Sorry, but I'm selling the mags in the price of the pistol to spice up the deal. Thanks for the offer though. I've also just posted this pistol over...

I traded it in at a gun shop here in Austin towards a beautiful, new M1A National Match with a stainless barrel.... it is GORGEOUS    Good Job! Ours are the "Loaded" models, which have a medium weight National Match barrel, and my son's is stainless. I still pre...

Re: IWB Holster for my Kimber ultra carry?
Please answer this question:
The Annoyed Man carries his Kimber Ultra:
A) OWB in a Galco Concealable belt holster
B) IWB in a Minotaur MTAC
C) Under his right arm in a Galco Miami Classic II Shoulder Holster
If you guessed all three, you would be correct!

Re: Wife's Concerns
When we go out, my wife asks me if I have my "medical device" on me, and I say "Yes...."
...then I ask her if she has her "medical device" with her, and says "Yes."
Then we go out and don't worry about it.

Re: 4" XD .45
Does the M&P have the magazine disconnect "safety feature"? If so can it be disabled? I have smaller hands as well so maybe the M&P would be just the ticket. I don't believe it does. I haven't tried it with a live round, but you can dry fire it without a magazine in place, so it m...

Re: WTS: H&K USP Compact .40
Thanks for the nice props everybody. I have edited my OP to add "no trades." I'm trying to simplify my caliber picture by getting out from under the only gun I have which shoots .40 S&W, and since I just added a new .45 a few days ago, I have to say "no" to trades for now. Th...
