The only thing that would have made it any easier is if they left it with a tank full of gas.

Re: Portable Generators
Like I said earlier, I have a Ford 11000 watt that works great in an outage. The biggest reason I got a generator is because my wife is on oxygen 24/7. Yes she has the portable cylinders but they are only good for a couple of hours and really too heavy for her to carry around the house. Now, just a...

Re: How to move Gun safe
The safe i bought from Academy a few months ago is nice. I bought a can of dehumidifier, 2 battery operated light fixtures and some pistol racks then put all my valuables in it after i bolted it to the floor. Gives me peace of mind knowing my firearms are more secure than just hidden in drawers arou...

Re: Why Do You Need To Wear A Gun In My Store?

It charges itself with daylight I have a Casio Pathfinder watch that was completely solar. It worked great for about 15 years then would no longer charge n...

Re: Portable Generators
You guys are pros at this generator stuff. I wouldn't know how to wire up the home heating system to one. Is it hard to repair or replace the carb in one of those things?

Re: Portable Generators
I have a couple of them for jobsite use. They work good for that except for a couple of things. (1) They don't like to start in cold weather and (2) you have to have the carburetor cleaned or replaces about every 300 hours. I just keep a couple of carbs in stock for immediate replacement. Also, for...
