Re: Red dot reflex sight
RMR - sits lower, smaller window, glass is slightly tinged blue-ish purple, better battery life, have to remove the optic to change batteries, manual adjustment model has up/down adjustment buttons. DeltaPoint Pro - sits higher, larger window, no obvious color change, worse battery life, can change ...

Re: AR quad fore end probably dumb question
I thought the OP was asking about something like this https://www.magpul.com/Files/Files/Images/Products/Rails/MAG013/MAG013-BLK.png?format=jpg&width=1200&height=700 I have these on mine and you can even cut off the parts you don't need for a spot where an accessory is mounted if you want. ...

I'd be more interested in one which doesn't use the takedown barrel, but had a Mini-14-style folding stock.

Re: Hard lessons learned
A muzzle device that requires timing needs a crush washer or shims. Everything might line up without them, but it's extremely probable that they won't. If they don't, then it doesn't mean that something's out of spec.

What does one have to do with the other? The reciprocity bill specifically states that any handgun and any magazine would be legal to carry in any state.Liberty wrote:If they actually pass the reciprocity bill. I'll probably get a 1911, and find out if the difference is significant to me.

Re: "Gun-Buster" Sign Legal?
Gun buster signs have zero legal force. They mean nothing to you as an LTC. Nothing. Except to inform you that the owner apparently doesn't want guns in his establishment. Not necessarily. Let's say you see this sign posted somewhere: https://i.imgur.com/WhwgNzu.jpg Does it mean: 1. "The owner...

Re: IL: Hoosier with LTCH kills robber in Chicago
What I do not understand is if you take the Illinois course, pass the background check, etc., why any person cannot get the Illinois permit since the state law authorizes permits to non-residents. Why only residents with permits from certain states. We have immediate family in Illinois which is why...

Re: IL: Hoosier with LTCH kills robber in Chicago
I didn't know Illinois accepted an Indiana LTC. I don't think they do, actually. Awaiting further news. Illinois doesn't accept any other state's permit. Not only that, they'll only allow residents from a few other states to even apply for a non-resident Illinois permit. Texas is one of those state...

Re: OC Has Gun Taken Away
Besides, the 1A doesn’t apply to private forums nor does my objection to the negative feedback reflect in any way on my respect for the 1A. Exactly. And neither does criticizing open carry show a lack of respect for the 2nd Amendment. I and other posters here who do that aren't the government. It s...
