Re: Man pretending to be cop assaults woman on I35 DFW
A real cop was arrested today or yesterday in San Antonio for raping a woman he got to the back of his car while he was on duty. Not sure if he cuffed her or not. Chief McManus contacted the FBI to see if they want to investigate it also for federal civil liberties violations. I definitely see this...

Re: what senate rule change could mean for 2nd amendment
Long term, the answer is at the polls. In the interim, how do we combat what the progressives are doing? The president is changing laws at his whim and the progressives in the senate are changing the rules to fit their agenda. How do we regain some semblence of balance of power and rule of law befor...

Re: Ever been spotted?
The question would be better if it asked if a "stranger" or someone not well known has commented about the clips or if someone is carrying.
The way the question is asked I have to answer yes. However, it was a close friend that had a chl that saw my clips and said something.

Ohio: Another instance of police abuse of power
Some will just right it off as another "sensationalized" media story. The facts are, he wasn't charged with a crime, it was legal for him to have a gun and the cops haven't returned it in a timely manner. This kind of behavior must come to an end and the police must stop targeting the law ...

Re: UPDATE: Video Conference:
I would like to participate. Was contemplating the idea of who all to invite and how to get the word out. Liked the idea of using a study room or conference room at the library. My other challenge is only having a laptop webcam. Other than those couple of challenges, count me in. Any other Boerne ar...

Re: MISTRIAL in Ft. Hood soldier's case for carrying AR15
"The job of the police is to deal with people who are exhibiting criminal behavior. The more that the police are called to act upon law abiding citizens, the more likely it is for a regrettable incident to occur." OK, fair enough. When is it ok for police to contact a person reported to t...

Where is the ACLU when you need 'em? Where is the free press? Where are the attorneys looking for somebody to sue? Where are the people running for public office? When is it going to stop raining and warm up? That is a good point. The ACLU comes out where there is a civil rights violation. Maybe th...

Re: "Texas Gun Owners Divided on Best Aaproach to Legalizing
I can remember back in the 80's, the ranch manager for the ranch between Odessa and Crane we leased for hunting wore a gun everywhere he went. He had an old style revolver and a cowboy style holster. I always assumed he just wore it on the ranch until I saw him in town at a local cafe wearing it. As...

I also think juries are many times made up of low information easily influenced folks that are subject to the best storyteller.
I don't know anything about his attorney but I bet if he had Charles Cotton, the verdict would have been different.

Re: MISTRIAL in Ft. Hood soldier's case for carrying AR15
This is the kind of abuse most of us want to avoid and prevent by not just rolling over and accepting police abuse of power and authority. And some of you wonder why people are becoming less and less trustful and tolerant of police officers, this is why. There was a time when I would have bet everyt...
