Glock 43 IWB holster recommendations
I realize this is a broad question but would appreciate any Glock 43 IWB holster recommendations. I am a bit overwhelmed by the choices.

Making your own cleaning patches for bore cleaning?
Any issues with just using a piece of a paper towel to clean the bore rather than the purchased patches?

Re: Taco Palenque 51%?
Will do, appreciate the replies. In relation to the sign, I thought it had to be on the door as you walk in? My understanding is the 51% sign can be posted anywhere. It's the 'other' sign that must be on the door. When you walk into the place you know sells booze and don't see the 'other' sign on t...

Re: LTC Class-High Pressure Sales Tactics for Legal Defense programs
Anybody know the status of the law suit about these sorts of practices? What lawsuit? Do you have a link? It was a class-action filing in summer 2015. The Harris County civil court judge did certify that CHL/LTC holders would be considered a "group" for purposes of the lawsuit. I don't pe...

Re: Is the 'Techna Clip' legal carry in Texas?
For concealed carry it just has to be concealed however you want to do it including ankle, stuffed in your britches, etc.
Open carry though requires a belt or shoulder holster.

Re: LTC Class-High Pressure Sales Tactics for Legal Defense programs
I had the opportunity to observe a class recently - good instructor and he clearly said it was a break and feel free to stay or take break. But funniest thing said was that pre-paid legal service is who the legislature calls to get advice on all gun bills as they write most of them. "rlol"...

Wasn't announced as a 'break'. Anyway I won't be reporting anyone to the DPS for this I don't roll like that.doncb wrote:During a break or after is fine. Taking up class time is not. The instructor should be reported. The DPS would take a very dim view of this conduct.

I know many people from the UK. Don't paint them all with the same brush or listen to the government sponsored propaganda from the BBC. They aren't all like that.

LTC Class-High Pressure Sales Tactics for Legal Defense programs
I recently took the LTC class. A good amount of time was spent listening to a sales pitch for a legal defense program. Sales guy starts out telling a story of some guy that shot someone and ended up broke defending himself in civil court and now lives with his daughters. Said he spent $500,000 , etc...

Re: Working overseas - CHL and DL keep or what???
If you still have a permanent address in Texas - it is a non issue. Wife and I are from Texas working oilfields of West Africa since 2003. We kept our home in Texas as it is being lived in by our adult son who is attending multiple post graduate schools. So we still own our home in Texas and have a...

Nothing different than a soccer ball being kicked over the fence or worse case a baseball breaking a window. Don't sweat the small stuff.
