Re: Not watching the Superbowl

Not watching for the first time since around 1970. Could care less about either team (especially tired of NE); but as others have said the straw that broke the camels back was the rejection of the Veterans group ad. Even most of the commercials were lame last year. Same here. I have been watching e...

Re: Concealed carry pants, reinforced waistline *patent pending

Please forgive my ignorance but why does IWB require a gun belt or reinforced waist band? Could it be because my EDC is a mouse gun that I don't experience problems wearing a standard "mens" leather belt with my EDC? I've tried wearing my IWB without a belt at all which works fine with je...

Re: Concealed carry pants, reinforced waistline *patent pending

Y'all are missing the market. Do women wear belts like men? I would be willing to bet no. I'm no expert but do women's pants even have belt loops? I know the stretchy yoga pants do not, I may have looked. "rlol" So instead of pitching this idea to shark tank and focusing on men's blue jea...

Re: Concealed carry pants, reinforced waistline *patent pending

I run a small business where we come up with our own product ideas and put them out to the market. The logistics on this can be enormous. Time consuming and depending on the product, expensive... Expect to put out about 10k just on the patent itself. I would be more than happy to chat with you over...

Re: Concealed carry pants, reinforced waistline *patent pending

So... gun belts are so stiff and so thick and they don't even fit in belt loops of some of the pants that I own. I love the innovative thinking and wish you luck with the idea! It's not for me but it could be the ticket for many others. My only observation is- done right, your pants waistband would...

Re: TX: Houston kidnapping victim accidentally killed by FBI during raid

There has to be more to this story. My instincts are telling me that this is not your typical "innocent victim". Maybe a bad dude who got kidnapped by other bad dudes because he was a bad dude. Maybe he resisted the LEO because he didn't know whether they were coming to rescue him or arres...

Re: Concealed carry pants, reinforced waistline *patent pending

I was watching some reviews on the Ulti-clips and seeing people clip the Ulti clip to the waistband of their jeans when I got this idea. Gun-belts are expensive and if you have one in black leather, one in brown leather, one in black nylon and one in tan nylon. Well... you could have CC Pants. They ...

Concealed carry pants, reinforced waistline *patent pending

Ok, so now that I got your attention. I am going to pitch my shark tank idea. So... gun belts are so stiff and so thick and they don't even fit in belt loops of some of the pants that I own. My new pants come with a plastic or steel stiffening insert in the waistband of the pants. A standard IWB hol...

I may have missed it, but how many of the aguila mini-shells will fit into the 12 gauge magazine tube?

Re: Does This AR Custom Build Look Okay?

Okay, so a decent AR can be had for $500. How much more "joy" could be had for $700 total? It's kind of like bicycles. There's a point of diminishing returns at a certain cost point I'm sure. Again, thanks for all the helpful advice! This has been a really good community. I agree with TAM...

Re: Does This AR Custom Build Look Okay?

You can go to PSA and get a complete upper with BCG and charging handle and a complete lower for $380, buy 10 magazines for $80, and get this red dot sight for $50, and be out the exact same cost after tax

Re: Retirement grows closer

allisji, First a golden parachute. My company got bought out and I could've stayed on. I was offered a job in management I didn't care for or I could take the golden parachute. I took the chute. Secondly, a wife who absolutely loved her job (she's just recently retired) and made a fabulous income t...

Re: Retirement grows closer

Don't wait to retire. There are no guarantees you'll get to enjoy what years and health you have. How would I know? I retired at 45 and I'm in my 70's now and every moment of every day has been great. Now, my health is fading fast, but it's been a great ride! so what's the key to retiring early? I'...
