Re: Top handguns in your opinion?

I love 1911’s but I knew it would be a lot of people’s favorite so that’s why I excluded them! But list them if you want! I just like to stir the pot a little hehe.

Re: Top handguns in your opinion?

In my experience with Kimbers they have always been really nice, accurate, and beautiful pistols. But what I have heard from a lot of people is you either get a good one or not. I have never owned a colt and I don’t really plan on it because of the price inflation because of the name. I can’t seem t...

Re: Top handguns in your opinion?

Ok top carry and top range! We really need to bifurcate this into two categories, top carry gun and top range gun. For me, top carry handgun is Glock 19. Too many reasons why to even start listing them all. My top range gun would be Colt Gold Cup 1911, which leads me kicking myself to this day for s...

Top handguns in your opinion?

Excluding 1911s :reddevil My favorite hand guns to shoot are SA revolvers like my Ruger vaquero in 357 mag. My favorite carry guns are my 45 shield and glocks. I say glocks because a Glock is a Glock lol. I don’t really believe there is a Top handgun because that’s only based on opinion but what do ...

Re: invest in a belt!!!

I use a big foot gun belt with steel insert. The most stable strong belt I’ve ever used and it holds a gun and my pants up with zero struggle. And looks very nice and professional.

That's a mighty bold claim.

Quality 22lr

I am looking to buy a quality 22 lr. I currently own a Ruger 10-22 and a marlin model 60. But I am looking to slow things down a little. I am looking for a nice bolt action or pump action. I’m lookin at the CZ as they seem to still make heirloom quality guns compared to most Companies. I have a Henr...

Re: You favorite rife ? Shotgun ?

Favorite rifle? I am torn. It used to be my Winchester model 94 (pre 64) 30-30 that my grandpa gave me a couple years before he passed. It was his baby and his favorite. My new favorite is my Romanian AKM 47 that my dad and I built together. A lot of hours and sweat and blood went into that rifle an...

Re: Bullet penetration

I've wondered for many years the same thing, I'm not 12" thick, well ok maybe now but wasn't before the 1970s, The issue with 12" in gelatin is that there's no ribs in it Add hitting a rib bone to decrease the penetration depth... Pig tests are good, they have ribs If they're going to sta...

Bullet penetration

I am very curious as to where and why the 12” mark in bullet penetration is the standard. Most YouTube ammo tests I have seen all say you must have 12” to 14” to be effective. #1 where did they get that data? #2 have they even been in a self defense situtation where 12” wasn’t enough? And #3 unless ...
