Re: 300BLACKOUT pistol build suggestions

I agree I think the red dot of some sort will be what I go with. What’s one that can be left on all the time with good hours

300BLACKOUT pistol build suggestions

I’ve already got my upper and lower and lower parts kit. I’m going to use the KAK shockwave blade and tube like I did on my Ar9mm pistol build. I need suggestions on a BCG and an optic. I’m really considering going with a primary arms 1-6 or a vortex sparc 2 as I already run one of my AR 9mm pistol ...

Re: Safariland 578 GLS w/ Paddle

I prefer the ALS holsters. They are quite a bit more sturdy in construction. I bought a GLS one time and it felt so cheap when I opened it in the truck I took it right back inside and got a refund. The GLS I grabbed was super flimsy and when the gun locked into it, it wiggled around like marmalade j...

Shark bite fitting. And pex A lil expensive but easy to do Two coupling prob 3/4”. A foot of 3/4” pex. All bought from lowes. Cut out broke section and bend pex into place. The longer the pex the easier to bend and connect. Pretty sure shark bites will fit on Cooper, cpvc, and iron pipe as long as ...

Re: The prodigal returns home

I love that Springfield. For not being a 1911 guy, that would be one I would own to carry. As I mentioned previously, I am considering going from a 9mm Shield to something in .45. The question is which gun and do I want to learn it enough to have confidence in carrying it. Drawing and accurately sh...

Re: AR15 Coyote accessories suggestions

My dad runs a primary arms 1-6 and I was thinking about the 1-8 as well. Good point with theoretical color and the light color I never thought of that

AR15 Coyote accessories suggestions

I’m planning on taking one of my AR’s in 223 and setting it up for predator hunting. I’ve already got one camo’d out with the stock and trigger that I want but I’m thinking that adding a bipod and nice scope will really complete it. I am also wanting to add a night eyes gun light to run on top of it...

Re: What are your 2018 shooting goals?

I just got my CPR AED and BLS cert less than a month ago. I will be in search of more severe trauma training.

For firearms I plan on training more with my rifles this year as well as continue with my pistol skills.

Re: Sling Shot recommendation

Blow dart gun! Quiet and effective. Although if you don’t head shot or heart shot, yours neighbors may see a squirrel with some little pins stickin out of him. Airsoft pistol would be a good idea. It wouldn’t kill em but you can keep them run off. You could trap and relocate if you wanted. Squirrels...

I too was flinching at all the gun safety rules being broken! I did think that the tracer part was cool!

Your grandfathers 1911 training

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jP7J-JNSUu4 I found this old gem while on the inter webs this morning. It is amazing how techniques and training has evolved since then. I will tell you my Grandfather still shoots his 1911 this way and he can drill the bullseye out at 20 yards. That’s how he learned it...

Re: Annoying Trends.

I can't really think of any gun related things that annoy me. Well, other than the usual unsafe handling practices by those that think they know better, but that's nothing new. Other things, though, are the lack of handwriting skills among school children. I have a few nephews and nieces whose hand...
