Re: HB 1927 on the Senate floor now

There has been some discussion as to whether 30.06 and 30.07 signs will be effective as to an LTC, after Sept. 1, 2021. The issue seems to be focused on the fact that an LTC will not be required to carry a handgun in Texas, thus they will not be carrying “under the authority of” their LTC. While som...

Computer won't recognize new harddrive

I'll try to keep this short while giving enough information. My desktop has a 5-disk configuration for video editing. The primary disk (C:) is 1.5TB that's about 50% full and the others are 2.0TB disks. I need to replace the primary drive (C:) with a 4TB WD Black disk and plan to clone the old drive...

Re: Farewell

After 6 years being a member here, I’ve had enough of censorship. Last straw was when my post was deemed as profane because I called that leftist moron Juan Williams a “ illegitimate child ”. Really, a “ illegitimate child” is such a profane word?! Drawing a line in the sand. Many thanks for all Pa...

This is absolutely true. I would not have an aluminium-framed gun without a ramped barrel.

Re: Aluminum Frame 1911 45 ACP

I have several 1911s, but only three have aluminum frames. I don't shoot the aluminum framed guns nearly as much as the all steel guns, due to the difference in recoil. I probably have anywhere between 5K and 10K through two - a lightweight Commander in .45ACP and a Springfield Champion also in .45A...

Re: NRA filing Chapter 11

As I understand it, this "move to Texas" is simply for the purposed of registering their incorporation. As such, it doesn't mean that they will necessarily move any staff or operations to Texas. Don't jump to any conclusions. If the bankruptcy judge approves the reorganization, then . . ....
