Re: Carrying At Home
The debate started when we cracked open some cold beers and he didn't put his weapon away. What do y'all think about that. I think I want you to explain why the heck you didn't leave. :headscratch I called him out on it and we ceased the drinking after the first 12oz curl and the debate started. lol

Carrying At Home
So I thought I would start thread bringing up the topic of carrying at home. Any input is interesting and welcomed. Considering anyone that can own a weapon can carry in their own home I think this could be a helpful topic for everyone -non chl holders as well. Anything involving concealed carry at ...

I applied for my CHL in May 2014 and I am moving this July and Im afraid by the time i get my CHL i will be moved into my new place so my previous address will be invalid. does anyone know if i ...

Re: Drinking while "Carrying"
The way I was explained the answer of this question (by my CHL instructor) was it is a tack-on charge. Meaning if you get pulled over for a DWI/DUI and you are belligerent and you are going to get arrested for that anyways, and then they find out you had a weapon in your console, you COULD be charge...

Re: Disqualifying?
i appreciate the input from everyone. I am going to wait and see what DPS does and if they contact me about it i will be cooperative, as i am not hiding anything, it just did not occur to me at the time to put it down. Mainly because a year after it happened I got my chauffeurs license and that requ...

Re:
Texas Tech University in Lubbock probably has 30+ 30.06 signs on every road in to and through campus. They probably doubled the number of them in the past 12 months, too. I called up the General Counsel office a couple months ago to let them know about it. I actually got someone who has a CHL and u...

Re: Is Open Carry Activism Threatening our CHL rights.
I dont think their tactics are hurting CHL carriers. I think they are hurting everyone that is PRO guns. Most people realize that CHL holders are licensed, trained (to some degree or another) and law abiding. I think their tactics hurt people without CHLs who would like more freedom with their guns....
