I believe it has to be a Class B or above, and I think they have to be convicted first(someone correct me on this if I'm wrong)OneGun wrote:So, if the pit bull's owners have LTCs and they are cited for a Class C misdemeanor, can they lose their LTCs?

Re: Attacking pit bull shot in League City
I'm of the mindset to blame the owner, not blame the breed. I view it as a combination of ingredients. Maybe owners could/should do better at training and restraining their pit bulls. However, it seems that when there's a news account of a vicious dog attack, often a pit bull is involved. I don't r...

Re: Attacking pit bull shot in League City
I'm of the mindset to blame the owner, not blame the breed. To me its akin to blaming an AK or Hi-Point gun for killing people. Pitbulls if trained and socialized properly aren't a problem IMO. The problem is owners (and this goes for all breeds) not really knowing the breed or how to train them pro...

Re: I can't make sense of Texas Armor Piercing Ammo Laws
let me preface this with IANAL... But, I've always gone with the thought that it is illegal to sell pistol ammo designated as 'armor piercing ammo' - so if you are buying it from a retailer, I would say that kind of eliminates the threat that you are buying anything that would qualify, or at the ver...

Re: Houston Folks: PSC Range Day after Christmas?
Is this still happening? Any ideas what weekend? I think that what should happen next would be that the PSC members who would want to attend this will have to agree on a date, and then they will have to "draft" the non-members to attend as guests. Us non-members would be at the mercy of w...

So was your tail light out? I've been pulled over for tail lights being out before, only for them to be miraculously working when I got home and checked.

Maybe it'll take a new case in our state to get Texas added to the list... any volunteers?

Am I the only one who sees this conversation slowly drifting towards "the Earth is flat"? yes... unless someone starts claiming that little grey men are the ones manufacturing the Flu virus and giving it to the government to disperse through chem-trails. Then we've drifted into that terri...

Re: Free tip about the Flu
Saw an interesting short documentary/interview with a Doctor that is 100% against flu vaccines - wish I could remember what it was called/find it, I would link it. She is currently doing research to prove that not only is not as effective as suggested (the supposed 15-25%) but may actually make Flu...

Re: Christie Signs Bump Stock Ban in NJ
I forget the legal term, but isn't there some protection for laws that try to backdate something as illegal? IE banning something going forward is fine, even if it is silly/stupid. But making it illegal for having had purchased it while it was legal to own?
