Re: Levels of Membership
I don't know if this is posted somewhere, but I have been unable to find it... Could somebody tell me what the levels of membership are here, and how each level is attained? I know that I am a junior member, which makes sense since I'm new. I'm just wondering how each level is defined. Thanks! Memb...

Re: Walking through 30.06 signs
With the thread title 'Walking through 30.06 signs', all I can think of is Casper the Friendly CHL Holder or David Blaine doing one of his illusions! "rlol" With that said, I agree that you should try to honor their intent if they try to get it right. I have rights, but so do they. I am no...

Re: Friend had to draw his weapon tonight for protection
Me personally i think your friend didn't do the right thing in this situation. He had the oppertunity to leave (his vehicle does have reverse correct?). Even if there was a little room inbetween him and the other guy he probably still could have done so. Second it could have been a cell phone in th...

Re: Punk gets some Justice
The way it looks to me is the writer of the article was trying to summarize to get a brief description of the event as a teaser in the first sentence. That draws the readers attention to the things that went on for those that skim read the headline and first couple of sentences of articles as a lead...

Re: Punk gets some Justice
BOSQUE COUNTY - An attempted robbery went awry around 10:15 Tuesday Morning when the store's owner saw a man with a ski mask coming through the door, pulled out his gun, and began firing at the masked man. The clerk managed to hit the robber twice, once in each thigh, as the masked man escaped. Sta...

Re: water shots and effectiveness
You will find supersonic lightweight loads are the ones that do worse in water than sub-sonic heavier slugs. As a kid, I used to shoot a lot of .22LR into the pond at an overpopulation of turtles that would eat the fish. I can tell you a turtle a few inches under is not going to get taken out due to...

I thought renewals were half price. (I'm not due for my first renewal for almost another three years.) What you may be thinking is some instructors only charge half the price for the renewal class over the full class because you only have to spend half of the day there. I believe the license fee to...

Re: When to call 911
locknload, I like your airplane emergency analogy. That is really a smart way to think about it. Similar to what LedJedi said about opening the line, give them the real quick details (if time) then get to the job of keeping your family safe until you the emergency has been handled either by you or t...
