Re: Deputy Scot Peterson
Scot Peterson reminds me of Bowe Bergdahl. In both cases, someone whose job is to protect and defend decided to allow others to die.

Re: Should I conceal carry a .22 pistol?
If you would let us know what part of Texas you are in, there may be a member nearby who might be willing to go to the range with you and let you try some of their pistols. Perhaps you find a .380, 9mm, or something else you like better.

Re: CC a Ruger LCP 2? What are your thoughts?
My mother has the 1st gen LCP. I tried shooting it and did NOT like it, but I have large hands. The trigger was horrible. I've heard the LCP2 has made many improvements. In fact, everything I complained about with my mother's gun, they have made adjustments. I have yet to try firing the LCP2 to see ...

Re: CC a Ruger LCP 2? What are your thoughts?
Hi all, new here and about to enroll in a course so I can get my CHL. My weapon of choice is the lcp. Is this a good option for concealed carry? Also is it true that Texas reduces their fees for carry permits? I read somewhere that I. Sept 2017, the free went from $140 to $40. If so, that’s a lot o...

Re: 21 or older to buy AR-15?
If we're serious about the age issue, why not make voting age a sliding scale matched to congressional/presidential age requirements. After all, if you are not old enough to hold the office... ;) 18 - Local elections 21 - State 25 - House/General Federal, 30 - Senate 35 - President That would multi...

Re: NRA vs CNN Tonight 9PM
There were some angry and hurt students, parents, and faculty talking tonight. And these people are justified in feeling that way. I believe their anger and pain has been pointed at the wrong target. As others have said, Dana did the best she could with the questions she was asked. She has far more ...

Re: NRA vs CNN Tonight 9PM
It was a trap and NRA took the bait. Whatever solution Pro-gun advocates would propose, it would be looked at as weak and not welcomed. Marco is doing great job, but no one is listening. What Marco is proposing such as flagging those who are RXed Psychiatric drugs should undergo further metal and s...

Re: 21 or older to buy AR-15?
We can give up a few rights in the name of peace, right? The Munich agreement worked to pacify Hitler, right? Upon return to Britain, Chamberlain declared that the meeting had achieved “peace in our time.” See how easy that was, history shows it works. :headscratch We "gave up a few rights in ...

Re: Texas SD8: Huffines Or Paxton?
Absent of other information, I would encourage you to lookup voter guides from sources you trust, on issues that are important to you. Additionally, endorsements from other like-minded elected officials and such can indicate (but not guarantee) which way a particular candidate can lean. I have my ow...
