Re: Zoning and the Second Amendment

I thought the left wanted to get rid of the "gun show loophole" by having people buy all their guns through licensed dealers. Sounds like the good folks in Alameda county now will need to rely solely on private sales instead. Don't "private sales" (PPT) in California still have ...

Re: Is the right to bear arms outdated?

It's like the story about boiling a frog. (I never tried it myself so I can't attest to the accuracy.) Bit by bit they slowly wear down our rights. Each step is small enough that few if any are willing to die on that hill. Then the next step comes and fewer are willing to die on that hill, to be tho...

Re: Really Ticked Off

Maybe some people are confused about the difference between the Federal restriction (the loot and burn amendment) and Texas LTC eligibility requirements.

Re: According to the LV articles... I'm nutz!

I had facebook but dropped it when they stopped requiring an edu email address. I never had a Twitter or Tinder account. I'm sure the MSM would have a field day maligning me for no recent social media presence and no permanent residential address.

No progress on repealing Obamacare.
No progress on middle class tax relief.
No progress on the hearing protection act.
No progress on LTC reciprocity via full faith and credit like gay marriage.

Re: Houston: Mother Pistol-whipped and Robbed in IKEA Parking Lit

Everyone knows you will be sued, most likely by multiple people, if you ever have to justifiably use your weapon. Then it should be easy as pie for you to cite a dozen or more self defense shooting lawsuits that went to trial in Texas where the defendant wasn't first convicted in a criminal trial, ...

Re: Is the right to bear arms outdated?

Yikes, so far 24% say they literally want the second amendment removed from the constitution. I can understand people wanting to review the restrictions put on it or not put on it, but removing it completely? What's the difference? It says "shall not be infringed" which is unambiguous. An...
