If you have a CHL from any state, in my opinion, who cares. Since we have a provision in Texas for carrying, I wouldn't give a rip what state it is from. What a waste of a LEO's time to try and figure out whose state honors what, and blah, blah, blah.....

Just my opinion.

It seems to me like they are creeping up, but I guess that is the same with everything else.

Lindy, since when to you have to shoot all the guns you have in order to buy more? :)

I have a TRS 1911 on order, and I'm sure when I get it, it will be my favorite. If I can just get my wife to let me by the TR AR, I'll be in heaven.

With Charles acting as reporter and documenting all the bloopers, you did not really have to shoot well to get your name in the match report. It is a good time, like when you have an example of every type of malfunction with a P7 all in one stage. Sorry I'm so late posting on this, I'm trying to cat...

CHL's in some cases can help a person get out of a ticket for sure, but there are always some Clinton-era type cops who think the only ones that need guns are cops. It seems the younger officers are more concerned with it than the older ones. I think it is a generational thing, Gen-Xers just don't u...

As far a cobat pistols go, I will have to say my HK P7M13. When it comes to larger, non-concealed, S&W 58, .41 Mag with an 8" bbl.

Shotgun, Parker Trojan in 16 gauge, and rifle, AR's are tops with me.

That is true, you would also be amazed at the number of police officers I see who can't shoot 90% to qualify. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction

There are some officers who won't go to IDPA matches because they don't want to get beat by citizens. Go figure.

MoJo, I will have to disagree on the choice you have for a beginner. Not a CHL instructor either, but I am a firearms instructor. IMO the 2" DA revolver is one of the hardest to master. I would agree that a 4" bbl DA revolver would not be a bad choice. I would suggest, for a semi-auto, a G...

I know I'm late on this, but.... I would like to see a law requiring municipalities to take down 30.06 signs if they are on city buildings that may not prohibit concealed carry. In the municipality where I live, the legal advisor has said there is nothing that makes the city take them down, so they ...

Four days a week for ten hours a day, I carry a Glock 20 and handcuffs. When I am outside those hours I usually carry a Kimber Stainless w/ a trigger job by Vanden Berg, in an OWB TR rig with the mag pouch, and belt. I also carry an HK P7M13, trigger work by Actions by T, in a Matt DelFatti hoster w...
