Re: Vehicle Carry
Yes under dash magnet.........sorry did not mean to tease :) I've been wanting to try out one of those, but I don't have a lot of room under the dash, and I'm also afraid that the gun (or mount) could fall if I hit a hard bump, etc. If a person doesn't drive like the Duke's of Hazard there shouldn'...

They keep saying "Stand Your Ground," when it should be castle doctrine. Oneindividual had a knife and a second had beasts knuckles. In my opinion that is self defense.

Re: Mechanical trustworthiness
Many many years ago my father told me, never trust the mechanical safety on a firearm. They can break, they can jam, just like the bolt can become jammed. You can be ready to take a shot at an animal, be all sighted in and ready to flip the safety off and it's jammed for some reason. By the time yo...

Re: Ft Worth Enforcing Ammo Ban at Will Rodgers
What exactly did the sign say. Here is the central part of the state the show sponsor exhibits a sign that is close to 30.06 and there is usually a police officer sitting at a desk by the entrance. I ignore it and walk in as it is unenforceable and I consider the sign and check is for firearms being...

It would be much better if they recognized Texas. This makes them something like D.C. In that they recognize there own but everybody else has to get there non-resident carry permit.

If you travel in other than Texas you may want to be careful of the built in hidden compartment. In some states it's against the law.

Re: Interpreting TWU Campus Carry
I attended the Skywarn training today. It was held in the TWU MCL building auditorium. Immediately across from auditorium doors was one of the rooms that was apparently determined by the TWU policy to be off limits and there was a very large scale 3006 sign on the door to that room. Because of its ...

Re: Smoking at the Pump
Took a college course once where a professor extinguished a lit cigarette in cup full of gas. A cigarette burning by itself (not inhaling) does not burn hot enough to ignite gasoline. Just useless knowledge. :iagree: but it's the fumes that can ignite easily. I have observed a shop teacher quenchin...
