Re: Instructor Renewal
Here's a question for those more experienced instructors. Does the 6 month renewal window apply to instructor renewals too? in other words, should we be able to begin our renewal applications next month?

Re: Shooting Qualification While Pregnant
Have her use a suppressed .22 outside and qualify before or after everyone else if she insists. I asked one of my students to come back after birth of her child (3 mos). I explained my concern and that there are no studies on the long term effects, but why take a chance. She waited and came back to ...

https://capitol.texas.gov/BillLookup/History.aspx?LegSess=86R&Bill=HB1231 https://capitol.texas.gov/BillLookup/History.aspx?LegSess=86R&Bill=SB535 Removes places of worship from the places off limits to LTC holders under 46.035. This cleans up language that made 46.035 not apply if LTC hold...

HB 1231 / SB 535 - Places of Worship No Longer Off Limits by Statute
OL, I am confused. The wife says that happens often. This bill removes the words "church, synagogue, etc. both from 46.035 B,G, and I. Is the intent to remove the ability of churches to post? The news is reporting that the intent is to allow carry in church. It is, but they are telling it as th...

Instructor Renewal
I know it's early, but is there any rumor on how renewal will be handled this year? I'm wondering how they'll handle both instructor and school safety instructor expiring on the same day.

Re: Application Process Question
I believe their application is only valid for 1 year, & if everything isn't submitted within that year it's closed. They will likely need to start the application process over again. As for the class/qualification, the Admin Code still reflects that the LTC-100 is only valid for one year ( http...

Ok. I won this gun at an NRA get together. I'm going to sell it but need a ballpark value. What's a fair nib price?

LEO Annual Qual
I figure this has been asked dozens of times, but I admit my search ability on this forum sucks.
As Tx LTC instructors are we allowed to sign off on an annual LEO range qualification for a retired LEO?
Thanks,

Re: On line classes have started
So, other than signing the 101 after successful completing the proficiency instructions and test, what do we submit to the state? LTC-9, online class equivalent of LTC-8. I have no password to access that form. That’s why I asked. So now we hear the LTC-9 is for on-line providers to report on-line ...

Re: LTC-9
Hmmm. I an doing a Proficiency for an online student tomorrow, and just discovered that I cannot download the LTC-9 reporting form, presumably because I am not an online provider. Can someone send me one? :banghead: Please post back what you find out. I am totally confused on how we complete and re...

I think the PC police got involved too. Something along the lines of "rewarding for head shots."

Re: Outdated LTC-100
It's just a re-issue. Date should be actual completion date. Remember it has to match LTC-8 you already submitted
