Re: .22 pistol choices

Perhaps you should at least check out the Taurus tx22. Not on your list but has very nice reviews. I know it's a Taurus but...

Re: Free stuff

I'd be willing to pay shipping to Boerne. If you'll give me a quote. What do you want? Just the shell plates or the whole kit and caboodle. It is a press so heavy but if you want it all I will ship it, you send me a check for whatever the postage is after you get it. I will trust any member on this...

Free stuff

I made the mistake of buying a Lee Breech Lock Pro press and some assorted supplies like their case loader and several shell plates. As far as I am concerned the press is a piece of junk but rather than just throwing it out someone may want parts for ??? I have shell plates 1,2 and 19 and am willing...

Re: M&P Shield 1st Round FTF Malfunction

S&W manual under “loading “ says to pull the slide back vs using slide lock. I personally always use slingshot routine and not slide lock. Seems that slingshot technique more closely resembles actual firing of gun. Some guns may instruct using slide lock as slide release. Go with the manual.

Re: NRA Hammered on Fox

Was it the NRA hammered or Wayne LaPierre? One is an organization consisting of its members, the other is an employee of the organization. And the leftist media has been hammering the LaPierre travel and clothing expenses story for weeks already. If it was Mark Maremont, he's a hit man for the WSJ....

The Wall Street Journal has reported this and I don't consider them a left wing paper. Does not look good.

Re: Medicare- The Health Care Standard Everyone Should Have

Advantage plans are the largest moneymaker for insurance companies. The more they deny the more they make. They also cost taxpayers 10% more than conventional medicare.

I should also note that advantage plans are NOT government medicine. They are private insurance companies ripping off the government.

Re: Medicare- The Health Care Standard Everyone Should Have

Rule 1. Stay away from advantage plans. Go with regular medicare, a good supplement, I have an “F” plan with USAA, and get a plan D prescription plan, AARP plans are pretty good. Advantage plans are cheaper but have limited doctors that take them, are hard to get through their constant denials for c...

Re: Help identifying rattler!!

At a rattlesnake show in Florida this guy is in a pen with a bunch of rattlers. He tells the audience to get ready to take a picture of the snake when it hits a balloon that he is about to throw. He throws the balloon and instantly it explodes and nobody has been fast enough to take a picture. Unbel...

Re: El Paso Walmart Shooting

TABC signs refers to weapons but long gum is not a weapon. Correct web site. https://www.tabc.state.tx.us/laws/other/PeaceOfficersGuide.pdf How exactly do you figure a rifle or shotgun is not a weapon? :totap: Clearly a long gum is not a weapon. Clearly? Mission Impossible has that explosive gum. H...
