Re: Early Voting
Denton county is slowing down. I guess we're starting to run out of voters. At this point, we're 45.7% of registered voters (259,080 people) have early voted at the polling locations. That doesn't include absentee ballots received or any other means of vote casting in the county. Carrollton Public L...

Re: Early Voting
Yup. Wearing anything advertising someone on the ballot is a no-no. Same with political party. Everything else is OK. Denton county is getting slammed with early voting. It's tapered down since last week a smidge, but it's still up there. So far, 225,476 people have voted at the early polling sites....

Re: Early Voting
Early voting was the busiest Tue-Thurs. Yesterday, it was still bad, but not as bad with average wait times of about 30 minutes at the Carrollton Public Library.
Today, there was no more than a 5 minute wait. Most of the time, there was no wait at all. Let's see what next week brings.

Re: Why is the Texas Republican Party trying to stop drive-thru voting?
I was just at the Carrollton Public Library for Denton County to do early voting. That place is nuts. They're the busiest EV site in the entire county. For the past three days, they've been averaging about 108 voters per hour of operation! So um... yeah. There's a line for sure, well before they're ...

I seriously wish I was in the Houston area. There's a special place in my heart for those, especially the Lorcin. Assuming they function, of course.

Re: Protests - the next level?
Wow. This event has turned from murky to super duper murky. Whatever little facts we knew could've ended up being false. I am in agreement with others that it's not yet known whether he was the aggressor or acting in self defense. If he was purely acting in self defense against what was thought of a...

Re: Protests - the next level?
It's interesting how there's so little information known despite the video. There are a ton of conjectures, but the only real facts we know are the following: someone discharged an irritant of some sort, the media-hired security guard fired the shot at that someone, and two guns were at the scene. W...

Re: Does anyone work with Kydex locally?
West Fort Worth is probably not all that local to you, but here's a place that does kydex work. Unfortunately, they're usually pretty backed up. I'd give a call before heading out: https://www.trinityordnance.com/

Wow. I would have never thought of that. Such an excellent idea. Fortunately, I still have a bunch of LP primers in my inventory. But if things turn south, I know I have options.

Re: The Pope has resigned!!
For me, it isn't the problem with pedophilia or any other illegal activities within the church. Every organization has their small share of bad apples. The bigger the organization, the more bad apples there will be. That's just the way it is with everything. My problem against the church is how they...

Re: Hodgdon buys powders from Western Powders
this is not a great thing in my eyes. Now just one company having issues can cause major supply problems on every shelf. Seems like with the exception of Vihtavouri and maybe one other it seems like just about all of what I see on the shelves is handled by 1 company going forward. A little scary......

Re: Rep. Gaetz Calls on ATF to Cease Plans Restricting Arm Brace Usage
I'm guessing this has to do with the brace itself. Looking at the picture, it seems the brace is probably creating a "length of pull" (distance between middle of trigger and end of brace) of more than 13.5 inches fully extended. That ATF has already issued a letter in the past stating that...

Re: Primers???
Just curious, has anyone had any luck finding any pistol or rifle primers lately, magnum or not? I haven't seen a single place with any in stock in the past couple months.
