Dem for Sheriff says he has no problem killing legal gun owners

http://folks.today/watch-dem-sheriff-candidate-caught-on-tape-agreeing-to-kill-legal-gun-owners/ “You’ve heard people say, ‘You’ll have to pry my gun from my cold, dead hands,’” Fisher said, and then gave a shrug. “OK,” he said to laughter. I will die in a hot pile of brass before an idiot like thi...

Re: MD: Shooting at Great Mills High School

Kyle Kashuv one of the Florida School shooting survivors who isn't spouting gun control (if you watch mainstream media you would not know who he is) retweeted the following from someone else. This story will die quickly in the media because it fails every narrative they want to drive: Maryland gun ...

Re: Daylight savings time

For the most part, farm life now days does not provide enough income to keep a family going unless its on a pretty large scale. For the farmers that have a job in town, daylight savings time is very valuable. We don't get to decide to just go to work an hour earlier so that we can do more work that ...

Re: Failing a student?

In the last two years I've 'failed' 3 students on the shooting proficiency. Those failures were 60% wrong gun for the student and 40% lack of shooting experience. Put a better gun in their hands with some one-on-one instruction and they all passed in the 200s on the second try. Nothing like the smi...

Re: My Leftist Son....! ? !

“Show me a young conservative and I’ll show you someone with no heart. Show me an old liberal and I’ll show you someone with no brains.” - Winston Churchill Although attributing this to Churchill is somewhat disputed, it still can be true. My daughter was liberal politically when she graduated coll...

Re: Pig Hunting

I've got no personal experience with this, but I've been told that, in some areas, the males are live-caught and castrated, and then their ears are notched and they are released. Future hunters can see the ear notch and realize that the meat will be of better quality due to the previous castration....

Re: Pig Hunting

Is the meat from a wild hog that big, edible? That is not a big wild hog. Yes but the answer needs some explaining. Boars or sows up to 100-125 lbs are both great table fare. The small ones can be smoked/roasted whole. With the bigger pigs especially boars, you need to do a few things to make sure t...

Re: Should I conceal carry a .22 pistol?

You are probably going to get some negative feedback on carrying a .22. My wife has trouble with large caliber pistols, so I understand your dilemma. I had rather you have a .22 than nothing at all, but a bigger caliber would be much more likely to take down a BG if the situation ever arises. With a...

Re: What if there were serious gun controls?

I would dare to guess that all of the people who don't own at least one gun would read that article and think that we need the laws it describes. I would also dare to guess that many, many gun owners would also read that article and think that we need the laws it describes. The political momentum fo...
