Re: WTB: Glock 19 (G19), Gen 4 (or Gen3)

https://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/products2.cfm/ID/116517 I know they are trade ins but there is no reason to worry about low round count. Most police officers will not put more rounds through a service pistol in their life than a competitive shooter will in a few months. Worst case you co...

Not sure your math is correct. 48*96*142 = 652,336 pounds and remains 142 psi regardless of square inches. Still a tremendous amount.

Re: IDPA 2017 Rulebook dramatically changes BUG size/weight limits

What a bureaucratic mess. How about shooting what you have...? I agree it's a mess. IDPA needs to stop changing their rules as one would change an undergarment. However shooting what you have in a competition only works if you aren't worried about truly competing. The reason for different divisions...

Re: cleaning revolver as primary pocket gun

I would highly recommend getting a screwdriver that fits properly. You can blow the revolver out but you can just relocate debris. If you pull the side plate you can insure it's clean and then you can lube the areas that need it very lightly. Pulling the side plate once a year along with blowing it ...

Re: Which hand should exert more pressure on a semi-auto grip?

Re: Recommendations for combat pistol as well as a carry gun

I limit my shooting to about 200 rds a month in 45 acp because of cost - if I had unlimited resources I would shoot that many every week. You would be much better served by investing the money you would be spending on a new gun into reloading equipment and supplies. This would enable you to shoot t...

Re: The dog catcher "caught" my dogs in my front yard

Another way to look at it is the "dog catcher" didn't just snatch them up and was nice enough to let you know without any issues. It's not their falt the laws are a little screwy. Good luck getting those laws changed.
