Re: What is everyone doing about Easter Sunday???

We had planned on going to Houston to be with my parents, but that's not going to happen. My daughter and her husband were going to go to his sister's, but that's not going to happen, they are both still going to work (considered essential), his sister has a child with severe health issues. Soooo, w...

Re: Corona Virus (COVID-19)( SARS-CoV-2) from China: Its going to be bad.

People who work in salons (or barber shops), for example, are usually 1099 contractors, not employees of the salon. Not to mention all the little mom-and-pop businesses out there. Seems like all th...

Re: Coronapocalypse Projects & Pastimes

I was going to sew some medical face masks, but I started coughing....so I decided not to pass on germs, instead I'm sitting and knitting. Robert is working from home instead of commuting up to Austin, that's giving him an extra....3-4 hours a day, so he's finishing up his reloading table and I thin...

Re: So you want to buy a firearm during a pandemic

this doesn't make any sense, the law says at most 3 days to reject....nowhere in there does it say 3.5 weeks.
if the rejection doesn't come in 3 days the FFL should make the transfer.

Re: Rights vs Responsibilities

a friend is a manager of a restaurant in Dallas....she had to let go 30 people this morning, she was in tears, almost inconsolable, she figures they have about 2 weeks before the place shuts down completely.
