Re: Oklahoma Constitutional Carry
Unfortunately, the "other" discussion has nothing to do with reciprocity or the issue of how Texans will be handled if stopped in Oklahoma. It has devolved into a pissing match and veered far off topic. My question has to do with the legal issue of how do non Oklahomans who may be pulled ...

Re: Oklahoma Constitutional Carry
On the other hand, a Texan who is carrying under vehicle carry and drives into OK may not know that they can put the gun in a holster and carry it on their person. But then again, if they don't know that OK has CC and they don't have an LTC, they might not own a holster in the first place. Worst ca...

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 26 dead 20 injured in mass shooting
As much as I hate it, it does appear that Academy broke the law as it is written. Since Ruger sells the rifle with a 30 round magazine, as well as a "compliant" model with a 10 round magazine under different model numbers and SKUs, it does appear that Academy did break the law. Many of us...

Re: Had a few rounds explode in my Ruger SR22 pistol.
Just wanted to post the conclusion to this. Ruger replaced my barrel, extractor, and slide. I inspected the gun before shipping it to them and it looks like there was an indentation made on the chamber from dry firing. Guessing that's reason the casings fit so tight in the chamber. No more dry fire...

Re: What Shotgun and Choke for Sporting Clays
I picked up a compact Remington 1187 Sportsman in 20 gauge for my wife today at Walmart. It was on clearance for $250. You can't beat that price for a semi auto shotgun! Trying to get her to go shoot with me every once in a while, so this was perfect for our needs. Not as nice as my Beretta A300 tho...

Re: What Shotgun and Choke for Sporting Clays
If you are going the semi-auto on a budget route, take a look at the Beretta A300 Outlander. My son and I have had these for several years now and have not had any issues with them. Not as pretty as other Berettas, but not as expensive either. Franchi Affinity and Weatherby SA-08 also come to mind f...

Re: Metal Detectors are Wal-Mart???
I seriously doubt that they are metal detectors. My bet would be that they are RFID readers for asset tracking and inventory, or possibly a test for a new "scan and go" type system that allows customers to avoid waiting in line for a cashier.

Re: Ruger announces new .40 cal PC Carbine model
.40 cal makes sense, it just requires a few changes from 9mm. Agree. I'm guessing that since the Glock 9mm and .40 cal share frames, the magazine adapter didn't need to change. To go to a .45, they would need to make a new magazine adapter for the Glock mags. 9mm to .40 was probably just a barrel s...

Re: Is the SIG P365 fixed?
I wanted one of these when they first came out, but then the problems started appearing. OK, new gun, has some issues. Then Sig responded stating that a small percentage were affected because of a small batch of strikers out of spec. Ok, how many strikers in that batch and what serial numbers could ...

Re: Missouri bill would require adults aged 18-34 to own AR-15
IIRC, although that city in GA does have that law, they also have not charged or prosecuted anyone that does not own a gun as the law/ordinance says. I suspect that would also be the case in MO if their bill does become a law. So what is the point of having the law if not enforced? Sounds like poli...

Can't say I like the law. Sounds good, until I remember my position on the government forcing folks to purchase another product that they did not want... Obama Care anyone?
