Re: ammo on sale
I have found plenty of Federal 9mm practice ammo at $9.47 a box at Wal-Mart in San Antonio recently. Picked up 6 boxes at one and one case of 20 boxes at another. There was an overstock of 40-cal ammo at one.

Re: WTB a .380
Got a friend , she`s looking for a .380 so I told her I`d look for one. She`s on a buget 250-350. So who`s selling one around that price? Anyone.... :tiphat: I have a four-month old Ruger LCP (372 series) that has never had a hiccup with Speer Gold Dot (my choice carry ammo). WTS for $300. Includes...

Re: ammo on sale
Speaking to the Sporting Goods manager (who is a friend) at my local Wal-Mart in San Antonio, he informed me that the local stores cannot order any ammo any more. Corporate decides what to send, when to send, and to whom concerning ammo. Locals have no say regardless of market conditions or demands...

Re: Suggestions For A Fiber Optic Front Sight
I have been using TFOs on several comp and carry Glocks (G17s/19s/23s/26s, etc) for several years and I have never had an issue with the sights. I do know of others who have had issues. The people I know that have had issues have been mostly on G34s/G35s where there is an overhang of the front sight...

Re: Suggestions For A Fiber Optic Front Sight
Since my G-19 is one of my carry guns, I use the TruGlo TFO sights on mine. Best Fiber Optic sights during the day (to include in competition) and best night sights at night or in low light. I use the yellow rear/green front sights. Easy to locate at Glockparts.com, Midway USA, and other sites.

Re: WTT a AR-15 for a 44 mag.
I have a non-ported Ruger Redhawk with a 7.5" barrel in .44 Mag. Ruger is so solid and hefty enough so that porting has never been an issue for me. Care to discuss? I thought all Bushmaster barrels were lined? Mine are.

Re: Drew on a guy today
Glad to hear no one was hurt and no one was charged or went to jail. I hope you learned something from this lesson. Life is full of lessons. I strongly agree with Dicion and the others above. Drawing made you the bad guy. It gave the other guy reason to fear for his life and take necessary action if...

Re: Gun VS Knife..
My knives are for a variety of chores to include gun retention. If you're not familiar with the Tueller 21-foot Drill, you may want to familiarize yourself with it. One would think that a gun beats a knife every time. With superior weaponry, the fight should be easily won. But Sergeant Dennis Tuelle...

Re: LCP Recall
Academy in Killeen has the LCP for about $320. Picked one up. A pawn shop in Killeen had plenty of .380 Auto SD ammo - especially Speer Gold Dot. Cabela's in Buda has the LCPs for less and had plenty of ammo. I purchased the 100-round boxes of .380 Auto target ammo. The target ammo had some hiccups....

Re: French Police Ammunition
I saw this firs-hand in the UAE recently. Girls from various countries (especially former Soviet Union countries and the Phillipines) are brought to the UAE to work in the hospitality industry with good pay (more than they could dream of in their home country) and once they arrive, they find out wha...

Re: Under 21 - No Reciprocity
I wish i didn't have to say this but I don't believe in the chls for under 21 even if they are in the military. Military training is big on disciple but not on common sense http://www.nowpublic.com/world/marines-do-you-trust-me-game-killer-mathew-nelson-sentenced" onclick="window.open(thi...
