watch out

My wife and I both did the renewal on the internet this year. When our packets arrived from DPS to the P.O. box, neither one was sealed. So everything about us, s.s.#, license #, phone, address, everything was there for all to see. If I was looking to steal someone's identity, a CHL holder would be ...

radio

At the risk of overkill here; for those who are unaware, thr NRA broadcasts live three hours each day on Sirius radio channel 144. 2 until 5 pm. They also re-broadcast the previous days' show at 5 until 8 am. They have a lot of interviews, and keep you up to date on anything remotely connected to fi...

I had always used Hoppe's or Break Free to clean the pistols. But you never really get down in all the little holes. Tried an ultra-sonic unit some, and that is pretty good, but you still need to break the gun down to get it clean. Saw one of those AGI video tapes, and their guy breaks them down and...

I appreciate the ideas, but it seems like I'm just screwed until the government allows a secured place to leave firearms. Most of the places that have secured parking lots (T.I. in Dallas, Applied Materials in Austin, A.T.M.I. in Burnet, etc.), I suppose I can park on the street and walk in. The fed...

is it a school or a church

Simple question.

The church where I go has rented out the auditorium of a nearby school. So, on Sunday morning, we use the school auditorium as a part of our church. Am I prohibited from carrying on the "school" grounds.

Thanks

What to do?

I am just looking for some ideas from the crowd here. I have a CHL. I travel extensively in Texas, and the surrounding states which reciprocate. I would really like to be able to carry in the car. My problem is that, when I get to a customer that has the parking lot posted, what am I supposed to do ...
