Surely you can justify it as a need to upgrade your home defense gun, right? But would the $12K include the suppressor? ;-)

Park City, Utah; Park City Utah Gun Club; rent suppressed Barrett and belt-fed FN. Sorry. Just making notes. Thinking about the next vacation...

One round used to be $10.00 a round. What does one round cost now?

If I could afford to buy it I could not afford to feed it.

Freedom Munition, $2.50-4.00 although the "cheap" stuff is out of stock.

You missed the chance to shoot a M2 .50 cal machine gun on July 9th at the Shootapalooza at ETTS range: http://www.ettsgunrange.com/calendar-1/ ... pooza-2016.

Well inflation hasn't hit too hard. It's 11$ a round now.

$60 for a belt of 60 rounds on the FN MG

Now that is what I call Home Defense! But I would have to have two one for the front yard and one for the back.

Uh, sir.... you could be accused of bragging. :nono:

But, I could be accused of the green eyed monster of envy! :cheers2:

If both are true, I would still rather be on you side of the coin!

I got to shoot the M82 Barrett quite a bit in the early 90's when I was in the military but we did not suppress it. It was fun to shoot but it was so big an bulky that I preferred to shoot the M21. I would like to have one but unless you own your own land you are limited in places to shoot it.

Well, after the tax stamp it's $12.2K. Hopefully that last .2 doesn't break the bank.
