Yes, concealed carry *is* allowed.
I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal

I sat in a room of probably 10,000 people today listening to Gov. Perry, Sen. Cruz, Gov Jindal, Sarah Palin and many others. I assumed about 9,500 of us were armed. Probably the safest meeting anywhere in the country.

Allowed and no issues. Why can't we conceal carry at the gun show there?

First, this isn't a gun show. It's a national meeting and exhibition.

Second, who said you couldn't legally carry?

I even went into the Hilton Americas for lunch, and there were no 30.06 signs.

The GRB center is city owned. Posting under 30.06 not allowed (barring specific events like governmental hearing as noted in the law) The guns shows were called out on this as they had police enforcing a policy of the tenant contrary to state law.

Now one may carry concealed but it must remain concealed.....no display etc.

Hilton Used to have 30.06 signs.....unsure of current status.

Seriously? Have you been there?

I was in the exhibition hall all day, and in the NRL-ILA meeting at 1:00.

"Loonies ruined it."

Really?

You aren't catching his point, although it wasn't clearly expressed either.

Dreamliner was asking if we can carry at the NRA Exhibition at GRB, why can't we also carry at the gunshows that are regularly held in the same space.

Saintango's "loonies" comment was aimed either at the gunshow attendees, or at the gunshow organizers, or at the rumored insurance requirements, or some unspecified Houston City government involvement allegedly "ruined it". Not sure who he was poking, but pretty his disdain for them is fairly evident. "rlol"
