CHL Holder Saves Woman's Life, Loses Job

‘I would do it all over again,’ says hero fired for using concealed handgun to save woman’s life
He was fired, but the public outcry turned the company's opinion, and they gave him back his job.

Glad they gave him his job back - hope he is actively pursuing a new one.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ Amen!

I wouldn't stay anywhere that exercised that level of poor decision making (having fired him).

While I can understand the sentiment about the man looking for a new job, I don't necessarily agree.
I don't think that GM will change their policy, so it will be up to him to decide what to do.

He may be considering it, but he has worked at the company for 10 years.
He is a supervisor so I assume he has done well and he likes his job and the company likes his performance.
Steady employment in Warren, MI is not easy to find.

The story has been updated that the man was not fired.
The woman's accused stabber is her daughter.
The daughter was arraigned in court and was uncooperative and disruptive.
I would guess that she may have some mental issues.
